About the Project

V2Ray Community Guide

Client downloads, setup tutorials, and protocol references.

V2Ray Open Source Community is an independent V2Ray guide with content in multiple languages, including verified download sources and setup instructions for v2rayN, v2rayNG, and v2flyNG. This site is not affiliated with client developers and does not provide subscriptions or proxy nodes. New users can start on the downloads page, choose their platform, and follow a tutorial to set things up.

Project V and Its Core Family

Project V is an open-source proxy ecosystem built around V2Ray. The core handles connections, protocol processing, and routing; graphical clients provide subscription management and settings. V2Fly continues V2Ray's community development, while Xray is a separate core derived from V2Ray. Their feature sets have diverged over time. Although some configuration concepts are shared, not every setting is compatible. Before choosing a node, check the client and core support details in the protocol reference.

Editorial Standards

Download listings are maintained by checking release sources, app names, and platform architectures—not by relying on fixed version numbers. Tutorials are tested against graphical interfaces and note relevant conditions, such as permissions and proxy modes. Interface labels may change between versions. If the steps differ, consult the setup tutorials and troubleshooting tips before proceeding, and avoid overwriting existing settings.

Use and Scope

This site is for technical learning and lawful network configuration; its content does not guarantee availability or security. Follow local laws, network policies, and service terms, and use only network resources you are authorized to access. Subscription URLs may contain credentials, so redact addresses and account details when reporting issues. For service outages, contact the provider through its existing support channels.
